Mountains 2 Beach Marathon has gained a reputation as a fast race that is perfect to attempt to qualify for the Boston Marathon. As the name suggests Mountains 2 the Beach starts in Ojai just over 700 feet above sea level, then after a few miles of incline will reach a height of 981 feet, before descending down to sea level as you make your way to historic downtown Ventura, California Pier.
