I am proud and honored to announce that I was selected as an ambassador for The City of Santa Clarita’s marathon happening on November 2 & 3rd, unfortunately, I will not be able to run the full marathon again this year because I was selected to Team ULTRA to run the New York Marathon!

I am hoping to be able to run the 5k depending on when my flight for New York is scheduled. But you should find me at the Expo on Friday, November 1! Santa Clarita Marathon will always be a special race for me as it is where I finished my first Half & Full Marathon!

If you are unfamiliar with Santa Clarita, it is located in the northern part of Los Angeles and is where Six Flags Magic Mountain is located. Santa Clarita is unique is that we have miles of paseos and trails that allows Santa Clarita Marathon to run about 24 of the 26.2 miles off the roads. The race is relatively flat it has a hill the first mile that is proceeded by downhill after that only uphills are usually just going under or over roads.
